Can B and W Slider Hitch Disconnect/Connect to Trailer When Slid Back
Question:
On a BandW Companion sliding hitch on a short bed dodge. Can you connect and disconnect the trailer in the rear position? I have a tool box and with the slider in the tow position I cannot swing the arm open fully because of the box. If I slide it to the rear I will have clearance.

Yes you can connect to and disconnect from a slider hitch in the rear position. So with your slider Companion part # BWRVK3500 you could have it slid back so that you have the clearance you are in need of.
