Recommended Lubricant For Snapper Pin To Make Tilting Hollywood Rack Sport Rider HR1400Z Easier
Question:
I have the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 4 HR1400Z. Theres a snapper pin that needs to be removed/ed when tilting the rack down to access the hatch. This pin requires a significant amount of jigglinginch the rack in order for the pin to slide out. What kind of lubricant do you recommend using so the pin slides in/out with less effort?

Helpful Expert Reply:
To allow the snapper pin used to tilt your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HR1400Z to be removed and reinserted easily I recommend using a dry lubricant like powdered graphite as it will not attract dirt and debris like WD-40 or a similar liquid lubricant would.
I included a video of the # HR1400Z for you to take a look at.
