Great question!
Ford, GM and Ram use a similar nomenclature for their full-size trucks.
• For GM and Ram, 1500 is a 1/2 ton, 2500 is a 3/4 ton and 3500 is a 1 ton.
• For Ford trucks, the F-150 is a 1/2 ton, the F-250 is a 3/4 ton and the F-350 is a 1 ton truck.
You have a 3/4 ton truck.
