Portable Solar For Small Camper

Question:

we are dry camping in Death Valley in November for two weeks we have small camper and have never dry camped what would I need as far as portable solar, it is prewired for solar thanks

Keep in mind that solar ONLY charges batteries, and in the absence of electrical hook up, all your electricity comes from your batteries. If you really want to dive into solar I recommend that you review the documents I have attached for you and to do an energy audit to figure out how much solor (and batteries) you need or want.

Since you have asked for a portable system, I especially like the Go Power # 34282730 portable 130 watt system. This system has a built in solar controller so it can be hooked directly to your trailer battery by several methods including Zamp ports if your trailer has them. This is a pretty rugged kit.
