Will the Thule Passage Allow Trunk/Hatch Access on a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica

With this bike rack installed, can you still open the back trunk?

Any trunk-mounted bike rack will prohibit access to the trunk/hatch while it is installed. That is true for the Thule Passage, part # TH910XT, as well.

If opening the hatch of your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica while still having the bike rack attached is important to you, then I recommend using a hitch-mounted rack with the tilt-away function. A good one is the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63360. It works with 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and uses the same hanging-style that the Passage does (the bikes hang from their top tube). I can't guarantee that your hatch will open while this is tilted away as each vehicle's hatch clearance is different, but there is a much better chance with this one than others. If you don't have a hitch, then I suggest going with the Curt Class III, part # C13383. It has a 400-lb tongue weight capacity, which will be more than enough for the Trailhead and your bikes. I've linked to a video installation of this hitch below for your reference.
