Could I tow this car 4 wheels down? 2010 Honda Civic 4 door Automatic Transmission

My understanding is that Honda states the Civic shouldn't be towed behind a motorhome. It is stated that the vehicle can be towed with all wheels on the ground but you cannot tow the vehicle more than 50 miles and you must keep the speed below 35 mph, "emergency Towing". However, we have also discovered a lot of references in the online forums from folks who tow their Civics without incident.
If you decide to tow the vehicle, you will need base plates first. You will also need a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring solution and a supplemental braking system.
Base plates, I suggest the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, # 521557-1.
Tow-bar, I suggest the Roadmaster Falcon 2, part # RM-520. The Falcon 2 is very easy to use. The self adjusting and centering arms mean that you can attach to your motorhome even if the vehicle isn't perfectly centered behind the motorhome. For safety cables, I'd recommend the # RM-643.
For a wiring solution, the # RM-2120 would be the easiest to use alternative. This would allow the lamps to be completely independent of the vehicle wiring, and would be very easy to install and remove.
For a supplemental braking system, you can't go wrong with the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. Since it never has to be taken out of the Civic it's one of the easiest systems to use once it's installed.
And finally, you may/may not require the use of a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to a help article "HOW TO CHOOSE A HIGH-LOW ADAPTER" to assist you in making this determination. To flat tow your vehicle behind your RV the tow bar adapter is used to raise or lower the height of the tow bar to the "Safe Zone". The "Safe Zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3" above level to 3" below level. A tow bar adapter will provide the necessary rise/drop to get into the "Safe Zone".
You may in the long run decide to tow with something such as the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs., # RM-2050-1.
