Recommended Tow Bar Wiring For 2017 Chevrolet Sonic LT
Question:
I just bought a 2017 Chevy Sonic LT that is Automatic and keyless. I plan on flat towing it behind my RV. Will the Roadmaster 155 Taillight Wiring Kit work on a 2017 and how do I tow a keyless vehicle? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs # RM-155 you mentioned is confirmed to fit your 2017 Chevrolet Sonic, and is exactly what you need for your tow vehicle to power the lights on your Sonic while it is being flat towed.
If your tow vehicle has a 7-way connector you will also need the # HM47075 to connect the 4-way connector on the # RM-155 to the 7-way connector.
Since your Sonic does not have a key, you will need to press the start button without having your foot on the brake pedal. This will put the car in the ACC/on position needed.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
