How to Inflate the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs

Question:

Hi there I have a 2021 4Runner, and am thinking this system will help reduce the sag in my rear suspension when towing our 3000lb 220lb tongue weight camping trailer. But Im unclear how you would inflate them? I have an air compressor - that would work right? Would even a standard shraeder valve bike pump suffice? And should I keep them inflated when not towing? Thanks!

The AirLift # AL94VJ will do a good job of helping fight sag on your 2021 Toyota 4Runner and they do come with inflation valves to allow you to inflate the airbags from your existing air compressor or a bike pump with a Schraeder valve fitting. You can deflate them when not in use or keep them filled to 35psi at all times to give yourself some extra stiffness in your rear suspension.

You'll typically install the air lines and valves in an easy to reach spot on the vehicle, either in the wheel wells or on the rear bumper.
