Upgrading from 4.80-12 to 175/80-13 Trailer Tires

Will your Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 13inch Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 fit in a 2921 Magictilt trailer? It came with 4.80 -12. What are the benefits of upgrading?

A 175/80-13 trailer tire measures 24.1" diameter x 7" wide and a 4.80-12 trailer tire measures 20.6" diameter x 4.8" wide. Therefore, you'll need to account for an extra 3.5" of diameter and 2.2" of width. That said, you'll only see half of the difference on the top and inside of the tire. If you have enough space then the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 13" Aluminum Wheel part # AM32001HWTB will be a great option. The larger tires typically provide higher load ranges, speed ratings, and better ride quality.
