Recommended Bike Rack for E-Bikes on a Class I Hitch
Question:
Im having trouble finding everything I need in a bike rack. -I have a class 1, 1 1/4inch hitch, literally the only hitch available for a Volvo C30. -I have plans to buy an ebike, considering townie step-thrus -I have an old raleigh bike with fenders and racks. The ebike might have racks/fendors also. Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches. -Problem is it is for class 2 and class 3. Not sure what classes refer to, but know my hitch is class 1. If its just a weight limit, maybe I can still use this rack. Thule T2 Classic 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4inch Hitches - Tilting -problem is it wont work with fenders Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount -problem is it cant carry an ebike, and might not work with fenders. I would love to hear from you. I really need to buy a rack.

I have a solution for you.
It's the Thule EasyFold XT, part # TH903202. This bike rack is compatible with Class I receivers, can hold 2 e-bikes up to 65 pounds each, and works with 1-1/4" receivers. Many times Class I receivers cannot accept racks made for higher-rated hitches.
The only obstacle would be the step-thru features of your bikes. For that, you can use a bike adapter bar like the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes, part # 64005. It will give your bikes the top bar needing for securing the bikes.
I've linked to video reviews of both of these parts.
