Base Plate And Tow Bar Compatibility For 2007 FJ Cruiser
Question:
I recently purchased a Demco base plate for my FJ Cruiser directly from Demco and a Dominator tow bar through e-trailer. After many hours of trying and several consultations with Demco, we determined that their base plate did not fit my FJ....so it is going back to Demco....and Im in the market for a different base plate. I like the looks of the Blue Ox base plate, BX3768. What do I need to order to make this work with the Dominator tow bar? Or would you recommend me swapping for a different tow bar? Thanks,

Since you have a Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs Item # DM9511008 tow bar and you're wanting to attach it to the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # BX3768 all you'll need to make these two compatible is the Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Demco Tow Bars Item # BX88310.
