Why Can't OEM Gooseneck Rail Kit for 2018 GMC Sierra Use Offset Hitch Ball
Question:
I have a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 2500hd with OEM puck system.... I need to be able to use the 4 inch off set ball. Does BandW make something for this or will I have to remove the GM puck system Thank you

Expert Reply:
The reason there isn't an offset gooseneck ball that fits the OEM rail kit of your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 is because the balls that fit your hitch can spin around in the socket which would mean that any offset would move around and work against you actually.
So if you were open to removing your current hitch you could install the part # BWGNRK1016 and use the offset ball part # BWGNXA4085.
