Compatibility of Ranch Hitch 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter With Rota-Flex Pin Box
Question:
Will this adapter work on a rota flex pin box? Tow with a 2015 Ford F-350 short bed truck? Thanks

We do have options that will work, but the # AM3139 Ranch Hitch 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter is not compatible with cushioned pin boxes such as the Trail Air Rota-Flex.
Your best bet to get the necessary clearance between the 5th wheel and truck cab will be to use a 5th wheel hitch. The best way to do this will depend on which gooseneck hitch you have.
If you have a B&W Turnover Ball, you could use the B&W Companion Sliding 5th wheel hitch, part
# BWRVK3400-5W.
Curt offers some rail adapters that would mount in their gooseneck hitches and would provide bed rails compatible with any sliding hitch compatible with industry standard bed rails.
If you have a Curt EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch, you could use a # C16220. For their Double Lock gooseneck hitch, use # C16210. With either of these rail adapters, you could use a reasonably priced sliding hitch like the Curt A20, part # C16541.
If you have a different gooseneck hitch, I'd be happy to make further recommendations if you could reply with the manufacturer and part number of your hitch.
