RV Stereo/DVD Player With HDMI Capability For TV
Question:
I have a 2012 camper. The camper has a built in pop up tv cabinet which houses a legend 4211 tv. a Jensen amw970 DVD player is connected to it with the wires behind the panel. Ive felt around trying v to find access yak either if the TVs two hdmi panels but wherever it sits appears to be blocked by that cabinet. That means if I want to plug in a Roku or Amazon fire stick my only option short of pulling It all apart would be to somehow go in through the Jensen USB port. Unfortunately I went to Best Buy and they are telling me That is not a possibility either, because the only equipment that exist would convert USB to HDMI not HDMI to USB. Is that really the case? If not short of pulling the whole damn thing apart how can I access that port.

That is correct, and unfortunately short of taking it apart there isn't a way to access the port. While I know it's not the exact solution you were looking for, the best option apart from that would be to update your RV's system with one that has easy HDMI capability, with a port directly on the front of the unit:
- Furrion RV Stereo - Double DIN - HDMI, AUX/USB, Bluetooth # DV1230BL
I have added a link below to a video review and the manual to check out to see if this is the best solution for you.
