Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Towing Forest River Wildwood Travel Trailer
Question:
I own a 2018 Silverado crew with 5.3L 4wd and 5.8ft box. I use an equalizer hitch to tow my Forest River Wildwood 26DBLE rated at 5868 lbs dry weight with a tongue weight of 775lbs. I am looking to see which options there are to just assist in helping with the lowering the bounceinch when going down the road, or what you would recommend. Thank you for your assistance.

I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-209-40 since you are already using a weight distribution hitch for load leveling. These will help to absorb bumps and suspension shock giving you a more cushioned ride. With this type of suspension enhancement you won't need to worry about air pressure like you will with air bags, and they are progressive so they will firm under heavier loads providing you more support.
