Recommended Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-300
Question:
Although your web pages mentions the Mercedes C 300 as being able to use your hitch and bike rack, I dont see any review from Mercedes owners. If it truly does work on the C300, can you tell me which model, whether it uses a standard or Euro drawbar and which bike rack fits best. Also, if it does fit, where do you normally have these installed. Thanks.

We offer one custom fit trailer hitch for the 2008 Mercedes C-Class sedan models, Curt class I hitch # C11030. The recommended drawbar, part # C45521, is sold separately.
Bike racks do not have vehicle-specific fits, so you will need to do some measuring to determine how much clearance you will need the rack to have before you can know for certain which ones will work best on your vehicle.
Clearance is measured from the hitch pin hole to a point past the bumper. Without having the hitch installed, you can estimate this by measuring from a point right below the center of the bumper and outward. We provide the measurement from the center of the pin hole to the first upright section on each bike rack. As long as your required clearance is less than the measurement listed for the bike rack, it will be compatible with your vehicle.
I am including a link to all the class I-compatible bike racks we offer if needed. Please note that you are only able to carry 2 bikes on a class I hitch.
