Will a Reese Goosebox Fit a 5th Wheel Trailer with a Lippert 1716 Pin Box

Question:

I do have the Lippert 1716 pin box that appears compatible with this part. I do notice however, that my current pinbox uses 6 bolts per side in 2 horizontal rows of 3 bolts each. The Reese Goosebox appears to use only 4 bolts. Is that correct and if so, why would it use fewer bolts to attach than the factory configuration? Thanks!

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter, # RP94716-61301, does fit the Lippert 1716 pin box when used with the included spacer adapter. The Goosebox only requires the 4 bolt installation. The Third row that is on the factory pin box is not needed for the Goosebox to reach its max 16K capacity and be safely secured to the trailer.
