Since your 2020 Ford Explorer came with the factory tow package you will need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED87FR which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle, and will plug into the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR you were looking at.
