Do I Need to Cover the Posts on a Circuit Breaker When Installing ETBC7 Kit
Question:
Curious why neither the PK5231201 solenoid or the circuit-breaker provided with the ETBC7L 7-pin kit come without any protection for open 12V terminals? Id expect a cover for the circuit breaker and something also for the solenoid to protect against shorting.

We don't include covers with a kit like the # ETBC7L, # ETBC7 or # PK5231201 because we've found that you can cover the posts with electrical tape or a piece of air line and accomplish the same thing with parts that are typically available without needing to spend on additional parts. Obviously not everyone will have air lines for a compressor system, but electrical tape is typically something that's on hand for installing either of these parts and easy to use.
I've linked an installation video of an # ETBC7L kit where Shane uses this technique during the installation.
