Troubleshooting Trailer Brakes that Don't Release Until Wheel is Rolled Backwards
Question:
Brake magnets will not release till u spin the wheel backwards. Any ideas

Sounds like a mechanical issue with the brake assemblies. You'd want to take the wheel and hub off and inspect the assemblies and drums for anything that looks broken or out of place and replace as needed. The part # 23-105-106 would be correct replacement brake assemblies if you have 12 inch diameter drums and a 6k rated axle. If you have something different let me know and I'll help you pick out the correct parts.
