How To Use Yakima Hullraiser Kayak Carrier with Factory Aero Crossbars

Question:

I have old Hullraiser J cradles that mounted with clips to a round bar. I now have a 2019 Equinox with factory flat rails and would like to use the replacement brackets for the RoadShower cradles referenced above. Do you know if this will work? The video states the brackets are 4 1/4 inches center hole to center hole and I measured the holes in my cradels are 4 1/2 center to center and I thought 1/8 difference on each end would be negligible. Your thoughts?

I do have an option for you but the correct adapters offered to use the Yakima Hullraiser Kayak Carrier with factory aero crossbars is the Yakima HullRaiser to HullRaiser Aero Conversion Kit part # Y8860031.
