Suspension Enhancement For 2016 Newmar Motorhome On Ford F53
Question:
I have a 2016 Newmar Class A motorhome 22,000 LBs max. Gas Ford chasis. I am looking to improve handling and sway reduction. Looking at the sumo springs - rear only or front as well? I want also to put front steering stabilizer. Which one? Should I have rear sway bar as well or will sumo springs take care of the slight roll I feel sometimes. Please let me know with part numbers,

I recommend adding jounce springs to the rear of your vehicle to reduce body roll and rear sag, along with improving the overall handling of the vehicle. I also recommend installing the front steering stabilizer to help keep the vehicle straight and handling properly. Typically you would not need to also install front jounce springs unless you always have a lot of weight at the front of the vehicle for any reason; I also don't think you would need the rear stabilizer bar since the jounce springs will do a great job of reducing body roll, but I will add the parts below just in case you decide to look into it.
For the rear suspension enhancement kit you will want to go with SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-187-54-1 which is confirmed to fit your 2016 Newmar Class A Motorhome on the F-53 chassis. This kit will replace your factory bump stops and assist your suspension, but it will not replace your suspension. This is a really nice maintenance-free option, whereas other options like air bags require attention and maintenance.
A steering stabilizer bar for your vehicle is not available at this time, but you may decide to look into front suspension enhancement or a rear stabilizer bar, so I will add the parts here: SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs Front Axle # SSF-170-40-2, Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-149. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you to check out regarding the rear jounce springs and front steering stabilizing bar.
