Troubleshooting Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Not Powering On Installed on 2007 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
I just got my wireless brake controller. I own an 07 chevy tahoe and when I plug it into my truck the led doesnt light up. Im extremely frustrated because I was expecting plug and play like it was advertised.

On vehicles like your 2007 Chevy Tahoe there are some connections under the hood that need to be made for the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way wiring to be active which is what the Curt Echo part # C51180 uses for power.
If you check out the attached help article link you'll see how the connections all get made.

I'm having the same problem with my 2013 tahoe. Lights on the trailer seem to work fine but brakes won't. Works fine with my 2019 ram. Could you send me a link to the article that was mentioned?
