Fit of Thule TH92BJ DoubleTrack Pro XT Bike Rack for 2020 Terrain
Question:
I emailed before asking about purchasing the TH92BJ for my Terrain. Mike suggested that I measure the distance between the hitch pin and the further rearward part of the bumper, and if its under 5 3/4 inches, the bike rack should work fine. I did this, and its about 7. Can you please tell me a comparable rack that will work for my car.

The Thule # TH92BJ Double Track Pro you'd looked at would be an excellent choice for you. The rack can carry two bikes weighing up to 35 lbs each with tires up to 2-1/2 wide and wheelbases up to 46-1/2 inches. The rack only weighs about 32 lbs, so it's easy to handle. The USA made rack includes a locking hitch pin as well as locking ratcheting hooks to secure the bikes to the rack.
The only thing I'd recommend checking is how far your hitch is recessed under the vehicle by measuring the distance between the hitch pin hole in the receiver tube and the furthest rearward point of the bumper. I'll link to a help article that shows how to measure this. If you find this distance is less than 5-3/4 inches, the Thule
# TH92BJ DoubleTrack Pro XT would work perfectly for you.
If either of the bikes you're planning on carrying have a deep step-through frame like what's seen on many women's bikes, you'll want to use a frame adapter bar like # HRBA-PRO. The adapter bar will span the distance from the seat post to the handlebar step, providing an attachment point for the bike rack's frame hook.
