Dual Hitch Recommendation for Carrying a Thule Apex Bike Rack and Towing a Small Trailer

Im trying to find out which dual hitch receiver I should purchase. Im looking to be able to mount my Thule Apex swing away 4 bike carrier and also pull a smaller tent trailer.

The Curt Dual Reciever Hitch # D-192 that you referenced should work well for you as long as the hitch on your vehicle has the capacity for the tongue weight of your trailer plus the weight of your Thule Apex Swing Away Carrier # TH9027 and bikes.

You should note that when you use a hitch extender such as the # D-192 you cut the capacity of the hitch in half. So as long as you confirm that you have enough capacity you should have no problem using this setup.

So what is the difference between the Curt D192 and the Curt D210? It seems that the D210 may not have as much rattle?

The D210 may make less noise. The bigger issue, is that fixed ball mount on the D210 may not be the right size to pull the trailer level or slightly nose down. If it does not provide the right amount of drop or rise to keep the trailer level, than the D-192 may be a better option because it allows you to select your own ball mount.
