Air Lift Air Bag Compressor Water Resiliency

Question:

Id like to use this AL74000EZ on my 2016 Land Cruiser to control the rear airbags. I do a lot of backcountry offroading which involves a lot of water/ river crossing, sometimes the entire frame recommended mount location will be underwater for a brief moment. Will this kit handle this type of situation? On your product page, it states, Features: Weather-resistant manifold that is waterproof up to 2... inch Looks like the Manifold part of the kit will be fine underwater, but could you please let me know how the water protection rating for the air compressor? I may look for another mount location above the frame... Thank you~

For the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL74000EZ you will not want the compressor to be able to be submerged or constantly splashed.

Per Manufacturer
"LOCATE EZ MOUNT IN AN AREA OF THE VEHICLE WHERE IT WILL BE SHIELDED
FROM DIRECT SPLASH. EXCESSIVE MOISTURE CAN DAMAGE THE COMPRESSOR
AND CAUSE SYSTEM FAILURE."

It looks like there may be enough room for it under the hood on your 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser in front of the air box. This would make wiring much easier and you would only need to run the airlines back to the bags.
