Can 7-3/4" Dexter EZ Flex Be Replaced By 6" Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer LC696740?

Hello, I have a 2021 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. Tandem 6000# dexter axles with dexter ez- flex equalizers 13-144, with 2 1/4inch shackles. The axle spacing is 35.5inch on center. I would like to upgrade to the LC696740. It appears to me that I would need the 3 1/8inch shackles to maintain the same height. What is the correct answer? Thank you

You are correct.
Since the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizers you have on your 2021 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS measure 7-3/4" on center between the horizontal mounting holes, and the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer # LC696740 is only 6" as shown in the included diagram, you will need to use longer shackle straps.
Since you mentioned your current shackle straps are 2-1/4" the 3-1/8" shackle straps # TRSL313 would be what you need to keep your suspension geometry the same. Another option would be to use the MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w/ 3-1/8"Shackles # MR76ZR which include heavy duty shackles and new wet bolts.
