How to Determine if Buyers Products Tri-Ball Hitch is Long Enough For Van Doors to Open

Question:

I have a 2019 Ford Transit 250. I bought hitch c14012 and wiring set from etrailer couple weeks ago. Everything worked and looks like good product. My trailer needs work and I plan on ordering coupler DM14793 looks like exact same as other except this one is only primed, jack BD1700100317, tri ball 3371802202, and hitch lock e98881. My question is mainly on tri ball hitch. My 2 back doors open, do you have any idea if this will be long enough? Also my trailer height and height on van hitch are pretty close, I dont think I need a drop at all. Do you know if straight tri ball is what is used? I would like everything to work dont want to send it back. Thanks

In order to determine if the Buyers Products Tri-Ball Hitch - Tubular Shank with Black Towing Balls # 3371802202 will be long enough for you to open your van's doors you'll just need to take a quick measurement.

This tri-ball hitch measures 8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch balls, so you can measure 8 inches out from the hitch pin hole to see if your doors will be able to swing open without interference.

I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Buyers Products Tri-Ball Hitch # 3371802202.
