Sidewinder with Rotating Turret for Short Bed Pickups

Question:

I have a 17 ford f250 with the shortbed. I am looking at a 5th Wheel that has a pivoting pin box. Is it still necessary to get a slider hitch?

Not if you have the Sidewinder with Rotating Turret for Short Bed Pickups. The Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret - 20,000 lbs., # RP34FR. This will make tight 90-degree turns with your short-bed pickup while towing your fifth-wheel trailer using this extended pin box. The pivoting action lets your trailer turn and clear the cab so you don't have to exit your truck to adjust when turning. Please note the link for full specs and product review videos.

If you need a hitch for your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty and have the OEM installed under puck system I suggest the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 20,000 lbs. and Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs. # RP30928 and # RP30156.
