I have a solution for you, but your 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ does not have a factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash so there is not a plug and play wiring adapter available.
In your Avalanche the wires for a trailer brake controller are already run underneath the dash between the emergency brake pedal and the brake pedal so you can add a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 without needing to run any of your own wiring. You will need to use Harness # 20127 with the # 90885 and a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to confirm the functions of your factory run wires. Once you have identified the factory wiring functions make the follow connections:
White wire from controller to ground wire of vehicle
Red wire from controller to cold side wire of stop light switch that only has power when brake pedal is pressed
Blue wire from controller to trailer brake output wire
Black wire from controller to 12v power wire of vehicle
I included a video of a the Prodigy P2 being installed in a similar 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche for you.
