Do You Have a Recommended 1-1/4 Inch Bike Rack for a Travel Trailer?
Question:
I cant seem to find a rack for a 1-1/4inch receiver that is rated for a travel trailer. The one recommended in answer to a similar question - the Lets Go Aero Bikewing 2 is only rated for motorized RVs per their instruction manual. Is there any option for a travel trailer?

I think I have the answer. I confirmed with Lets Go Aero that the Bikewing 2 B01311 should not be used on a travel trailer. We do not recommend using 1-1/4 inch receivers on travel trailers because a 1-1/4 inch bike rack/hitch combination is not very secure on a travel trailer shank with the added torque experienced at the end of a trailer during travel (especially with added bike weight).
However, there are many 2-inch hitch/bike rack combinations that are guaranteed to get the job done securely and worry-free. The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 has the safety and reliability you are looking for. This hitch will fit the frame of your 2021 Lance TT Travel Trailer as long as the frame measures between 22 inches and 72 inches.
For the bike rack that holds two bikes like the Bikewing, I recommend the Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers # S64663. The Traveler XC2 will have compatibility with the bumper/spare tire clearance as long as the measurement is less than 8 inches. For added security for your bikes, you can purchase an Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64030. Also, if you are trying to attach bikes that have unique or odd-shaped frames, you can purchase a Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar # S57FR.
