I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Would these attach to the roof racks that go length wise/parallel on the car?

The Thule SUP Shuttle # TH811XT will connect to your crossbars that connect to your parallel rails. You will need to get a roof rack for your 2012 Toyota Highlander. All you need is Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711400 and the
Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401. The SUP Shuttle will attach to these bars.
