How to Wire in a Bargman Triple Tail Light into Trailer Wiring

Question:

Hello, Im looking to replace my old tail lights on my travel trailer. I like the looks of these, but I dont know if they will fit the wiring on the trailer. What I have is a total of 3 wires in my trailer: ONE wire that activates the turn signal AND the brake light. Then the other two wires are: one wire for the tail light and one for the backup light. On your lights I see that there are 2 hot wires on each red light. Do I simply discard one wire in each red fixture? Making one red light into a stop/turn and the other red light into a tail light? and of course the other one is backup light. If not like that how else could I do it? Because I prefer not to be forced to buy the same double light fixture that originally came on the trailer

The Bargman Triple Tail Light # 47-84-009 that you referenced will install without a problem on your trailer.

The 2 solid red led lights have three circuits that run to them. The black wire is stop and turn, the green wire is tail light and the white is ground. The ground circuits of all the lights are wired together into one wire. You will need to run that wire to a clean metal surface on your trailer frame.

The reverse light has its own black wire that will get run to the reverse circuit of your trailer wiring and grounds through the same white wire.

I pulled one of these light assemblies from our warehouse and shot a video for you that shows how it would wire up.
