Troubleshooting Wall Switch Not Activating Powered Lift Or Fan When Turned On

Question:

I have three of these in an 2015 American Coach Eagle 45N. They have power vent cover lift with rain sensor. They are all wired to a wall switch that when pressed activates the power lift which then turns the fan on. My bathroom fan no longer activates when the wall switch is activated. I swapped out lift motors 17rpm but that did not solve the problem. I can activate the fan by manually turning the knob to raise the vent cover but the wall switch no longer activates the powered lift. Is this most likely a problem with the contol board since a known working lift motor did not fix the problem. What parts and repair do I need to perform. Thanks for your help,

For the vent on your 2015 American Coach Eagle 45N, I would start by checking the fuse by the control knob on the fan. Check your switch to make sure it has not gone bad. This can be done by removing the power and ground from the back of the switch and connecting them directly to a 12v power source. If that doesn't work then it is most likely the board. In order to replace the board you would have to use the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 Series Upgrade Kit Item # FV807359. Keep in mind this is for the 7350 series fans. If your current vent has notched corners you would need Item # FV807357.
