Do Diodes Included With Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play Duo SM99251 Needed To Be Used On 2008 Honda CR-V?

Hi… I am installing the SBS stay –IN – play duo brake system but I will not be wiring it directly into the brake lights of my car. I’m using a supplemental tow brake light configuration. Will this require diodes?

If the supplemental tow bar brake light configuration you mentioned on your 2008 Honda CR-V already has diodes you will not need to use the diodes included with the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251.

Now if the configuration is not diode protect you will need to wire the included diodes inline from the # SM99251 to the brake light wiring.
