2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Model E40PST330H Break Controller Installation
Question:
2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Model Nr E40PST330H. The Break controller installed passed the break signal red wire through the firewall but it does not connect to anything. Why it was left unconnected I don’t know. I’m trying to find where they we’re trying to connect it. The break signal wire is NOT under the dash. There is a connector on the firewall outside. I need to know which wire to splice into. In the pics, the red wire with the open connector at the end is from the controller in the cab. Where am I supposed to connect it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The red wire is supposed to be connected to the stop light switch. You'll need to use a circuit tester item # ptw2993 to find the cold side of the wire which will only have power when the brakes are applied so you can splice in the break signal. If you need more wire you can splice in 16 gauge wire item # 16-1-1.
