Recommended Weight Distribution with Sway for 2013 Jayco Popup Pulled With 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Question:
What wdh setup would you recommend for a 2013 Jayco 1206 tent trailer. The tongue weight is around 360lbs and at max it is at around 420 including cargo in The back of my gladiator. The soft suspention creates the requirement of a wdh. I am Just concerned about ground clearance as the trailer is quite low and the frame is rather small. Thx

I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET. This trunnion style hitch won't hang as low as the other round bar style hitches that are available. It is rated for tongue weights of 200-600lbs. The Equal-i-zer hitches are built to last and offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty to back it up. A sway control is built into this hitch as well to make your drive much safer.
The Sway Bracket Jackets # EQ95-01-5150 are great to reduce the amount of noise that your hitch makes when you are driving. These give the system reduced wear as well by eliminating the steel on steel contact with the bars.
