Recommended Winch To Replace Shelby Winch On 1988 Starcraft Starblazer Pop Up Camper

I need to replace the winch not the cables on a 1988 Starcraft Starblazer Pop Up Camper. The current winch is a Shelby which they no longer make. It’s a right hand winch on the under side of the camper. What winch would you recommend?

To replace the Shelby winch on your 1988 Starcraft Starblazer Pop Up Camper I recommend the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - Freewheel - 1,200 lbs # DL14993 which has a 1200lb capacity perfect for your trailer, and is a right hand winch like your current winch.

The # DL14993 has a Tuffplate finish to keep it from rusting, and the automatic brake will hold a load when needed.

If you are also needing a replacement cable I recommend the # DL24045.
