Will a Thule Motion XT 18 cargo box fit a 2020 Toyota 4Runner with factory roof rack and cross bars? Will the rear hatch open? If not, what will fit?

There is a way for you to carry cargo on the roof of your 2020 Toyota 4Runner with a factory roof rack, but I checked with our manufacturers for you, and there are no fits for cargo boxes on this rack, so what you will need is a cargo basket from Yakima:

This is the only confirmed fit for a cargo carrier for your 4Runner's factory rack due to how low the crossbars are to the roof, which won't allow most options to secure to the bars. The OffGrid uses thin, rubber-coated stainless steel straps to mount as opposed to most systems with bulky clamps, which is why it can be used on your 4Runner.
