Will the Stainless Steel Trailer Hitch Receiver Step Set Off the Backup Alarm on a 2013 Kia Sorento

I have a kia Sorento SX 2013 with Drawtire 2Class III hitch. Will Pilot Hitch step at 7in extension cause vehicle rear backup sensors to sound? Thank you?

It is entirely possible that having the trailer hitch step, # CR-600, installed will trip the back up sensors on your 2013 Kia Sorento. As would towing a trailer or using other accessories. However, it would only sound the alert when the vehicle is placed in reverse and should not be a problem unless you spend a lot of time in reverse.
