Compatibility of Firestone Air Helper Springs on 2015 Ford F250 w/ B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2012 f250 CC SRW Short Bed- I have Firestone 2535 installed- love the bags- we pull 9k travel travel trailer on weekends and want to step up to a 5th wheel. I want to buy a BW turnover or similar now, and companion later- and not loose the bags. Renting a 5th wheel this summer for trip. Any help is greatly appreciated.

According to Firestone, the discontinued F2535 which was replaced by the # F2597 is compatible with an in-bed hitch. The B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch you'd mentioned, part # BWGNRK1111 would for well with the air helper spring suspension you currently have. Down the road when you need it, you'd use the
# BWRVK3400-5W B&W Companion sliding 5th wheel hitch.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C56000.
I've linked to install videos for the hitch and the trailer connector mentioned above.
