Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver And Cargo Carrier For 2010 MAZDA CX-9 Grand Touring
Question:
Good Morning! I purchased a trailer hitch receiver ITEM # 13575 from you over the weekend. I know this carrier will attach to the receiver, but is there any reason this carrier would not work with our vehicle? It doesnt show its compatible, but Im not sure why it wouldnt work and want to be certain prior to pulling the trigger. Thank you for your time.

The Etrailer Cargo Carrier - 24"x60" - 2" Hitch - Tilting # e98874 will certainly fit into the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13575 that you have on your vehicle. Both the hitch receiver and the cargo carrier will work well on your 2010 Mazda CX-9. The reason the cargo carrier may show that it isn't fit for your vehicle is because cargo carriers are not vehicle-specific and are universal-fit for most trailer hitch receivers. You will not have any issue with this setup!
I do recommend adding Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock # e99047 which will keep the carrier locked to the hitch to deter theft and will also reduce wobble/vibration. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you.
