Transmission Cooler Recommended for 2003 GMC Envoy

Question:

I have a 2003 GMC envoy. I haul a 6x 10foot trailer with a 60inch zero turn mower. The car temperature gets hot in the summer. It doesnt over heat but gets hotter than normal. Which cooler should I get and do I need the snap in part. Thanks!

Typically, the transmission lines make a loop through the radiator so if you're working your SUV hard while towing, you'd certainly benefit from a transmission cooler.

Unless you live way up north where it gets seriously cold, it's difficult to over-cool a transmission. The best spot to mount a cooler is directly behind the grille in front of the radiator, so we typically recommend choosing the largest cooler that will fit into the available space. The Derale # D13504 measures 11 x 12 inches and would be a great job helping keep the transmission

You would indeed need the # D13035 snap-in fitting. I've linked to a video showing how the fitting works.
