Can Vehicle Doors Open with Thule Hullavator in Lower Position
Question:
I am considering purchasing two Thule Hulivators for 2020 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid. I cannot pull into the garage with kayaks on the roof. Does the Hulivators allow entry/exit from vehicle when down? Or can someone else move the kayaks down and I pull into the two car garage for unloading? I would like to hoist kayaks from car in down position in the garage to a ceiling mount hoist.

When the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 is in the lower position it's going to make opening the doors to an extent to allow a person in or out basically impossible. The second scenario you mentioned of having a passenger get out and lower the racks so you could get in might be best. But then you'd have to find a way to get out of the vehicle still.
