Can You Turn the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Off

Question:

I have the Prodigy P3. It is installed in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. My question is can you turn the unit off without unplugging it or turning the power down to 0?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, # 90195, does not have a power switch, but it will go into sleep mode after several minutes of inactivity. The power draw when it is in the sleep mode is so negligible that it will not discharge the battery.

If you want the brake controller totally off, then you would have to unplug the connector from the back of the controller as you've mentioned.
