Best Bike Rack For Heavy Electric Bikes
Question:
Im considering the Thule T2 Pro XTR. My ebike weighs 70lbs without the battery. It says weight capacity 60lbs per bike 120lbs total. Could I just consider it 120 total weight capacity? It would be just mine bike 90 of the time and the second bike would be just a normal bike maybe 25-35 lbs. Would be under the 120 total recommendation.

Whenever bike racks have a capacity, it is always divided up by the amount of bikes you can carry. You will have to find a rack that has 70lbs per bike. That being said, I do have one that I like that will work for you! The Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR has 80 lbs per bike and will be perfect for your situation!
