Can 6-1/2" Long Equalizers Replace 5-1/2" Long Equalizers On 2017 Keystone Outback?

i have 2017 keystone outback trailer i just got my cre3000 the shoulder hole pattern the trailer is 5 1/2 on the new cre3000 is 6 1/2 will the new ones work? be fore i take it all apart thank you

Since the distance between the horizontal mounting holes on center of your current equalizers on your 2017 Keystone Outback is 5-1/2" and the MORryde Cre3000 equalizers that you purchased have are 6-1/2" you will either need to use shorter equalizers, or shorter shackle straps to keep your suspension geometry the same.

For shorter equalizers I recommend the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 3K to 6K # LC279687 which measure 5-1/2" between the horizontal mounting holes as shown in the included diagram making them an exact replacement for your current equalizers, and will work with axles rated between 3000-6000lbs.

The other option is to find shackle straps that are shorter than your current shackle straps to keep your suspension geometry the same. To do this you will need to measure the distance on center between the mounting holes of your shackle straps as shown in the included diagram. If you can tell me the length of your current shackle straps I would be happy to see if there is a shorter option available.
