Which Ladder Rack Will Work With BAK Revolver X4 Tonneau Cover On 2018 Chevy Colorado 5' Bed

Question:

I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab with 5 bed. I have a BAK Revolver X4 Tonneau cover. The bed size and Tonneau cover appear to be compatible with the Truxedo TS rails. Is it possible to use the Truxedo rails with the Yakima Overhaul HD rack. Will all these components work together? I really like my tonneau cover. Thanks for any assistance.

I have a solution for you, but the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs - 68" Crossbars # Y01151-58 is specifically made to work with the Retrax XR tonneau cover and will not work with your BAK Revolver X4 cover.

For a ladder rack setup that will work with your current bed cover, I would look into either the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack 500 lbs # A4000950 or the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack 500 lbs # A4001225. These racks are nearly identical aside from slight differences in the upright support bars; Pro series has straight uprights while the Aluminum series has angles uprights. Both have a 500lb weight capacity and 66" long crossbars that have a top channel for track-mounted accessories just as the Yakima Overhaul has. These ladder racks will work just fine with an inside-the-rail bed cover such as your BAK Revolver since they mount on top of the bed rails.

I also recommend adding Aluminum Tie-Downs for Adarac Aluminum and Aluminum Pro Series Ladder Rack Utility Rails - Qty 4 # A4000882 and Load Stops for Adarac Truck Bed Ladder Rack Crossbars with Mounting Channels- Qty 2 # A4000880 which will come in handy when loading items onto the crossbars.
