Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch for 2021 Ram 2500 Short Bed With Factory In-Bed Pucks

Ive got a 2021 Ram 2500 with the short bed and factory 5th wheel/ gooseneck prep. Any suggestions on hitch? Do I need a slider?

To ensure proper clearance between the front of your 5th wheel and the rear of your truck bed during sharp turns, we highly recommend a sliding hitch.
Curt offers some really nice 5th wheel hitches that have features that will provide a nice smooth ride without totally breaking the bank. The Curt A-series hitches use an articulating torsion head that helps isolate the tow vehicle from much of the noise and shock experienced during towing. The interlocking jaw system holds the king pin very tightly all around its circumference, which prevents the king pin from moving around in the hitch which further improves the ride quality.
The A-Series is available in a 16K capacity as part # C16521 or a 20K capacity as part # C16541. You'll also need the # C16022 adapter to join the slider to the pucks in your truck bed.
