Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-250 Towing 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Hello. I have a 2018 F250 4x4 Supercrew 4 door short bed truck with the 6.2 gas engine. I tow a 5th wheel with a GVW of 10,500 lbs. I would guess that would put 1,500 to 2,000 lbs over the truck axle. My question is: Air bags, helper leaf springs, Jounce style springs? I pull the camper around 1,000 miles per year over around 6 to 8 trips. I put an additional 5,000 miles on the truck without a load. I am thinking of going with two sets of the jounce style springs for the fifth wheel TSS-107-40, but what is the ideal setup for the truck? I dont have a factory sway bar in the rear. Would that be worth it as well. It can be windy in Montana, so please factor in that also. Thanks in advance!

The best rear suspension enhancement for your 2018 Ford F-250 that's towing a trailer will be the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS3611-SHD. Unlike other options this will actually increase stability and handling when towing and not towing and improve ride quality whereas other options will give you support but sacrifice ride quality while not improving handling and stability.

These also don't require maintaining air pressure either like the air bag kits.
